As you all know, Romania was a communist country until 1989. Some of us are too young to remember exactly how it was, ow what happened, or what was the purpose. We rely on our friends and relatives to shed some light upon the events on that period. Fact is, it was a very interesting time, from a traveler’s point of view. And Bucharest, being the capital of Romania, was the core center of the Communist Party. Discover the places that were built during that time, where the 1989 revolution took place, where did Ceausescu live and more. This tour showcases some of Romania’s darker times, but a truly fascinating piece of history.

Andrei has been very attentive to all our needs and this made the tour even more interesting. Our guide, John was also very knowledgeable about Bucharest. Highly recommended.
I would recommend this tour to anyone. The house of Ceacescu was one of the highlights.
My wife and I spent some time in Romania, because her dad was born here. Even if Andrei was only in charge for a city tour, the experience was wonderful, and we made new friends as well. Looking forward to visiting again the future.
I liked the way our guide explained the whole history and how communism came about; it is interesting to see where Ceausescu lived and how he lived. The tour did not feel boring at all, it was very well paced. Recommended.
