Secrets in the Oven – Adnana’s Story

Hello everyone! I am Adnana, the cook and photographer behind Secrets In The Oven. I love to share inventive recipes that appeal to beginner food-lovers who like to get creative in their kitchens. I have the luck of having the full support of my boyfriend, Robert, the person behind the video camera. Both of us love cooking and travelling. In every city we visit, we are searching for traditional specialties and culinary secrets in order to collect and try new recipes.

I am sure that many of you would want to cook but do not know where to start. The story of my passion began in my childhood when the curiosity of my mother’s dishes awakened the desire of learning the secrets of this art. I used to cook and personalize the recipes in my own way and share them with my friends. I associate food with family, friends, and good times.

Secrets In The Oven started as a way to share my recipes with friends and family and it helped me discover a whole new community of food-loving people. Furthermore, everything happens at home. I record video recipes, I write, I cook, and I take pictures of my dishes. I started this youtube channel in order to create dishes that anyone can cook! The greatest recipe for a successful result should have three important ingredients: respect for the formula, respect for the technique and respect for the people for whom you are cooking.

One of the most common goals many of us have is to start eating healthy. By creating Secrets In The Oven channel, we want to introduce new and innovative super-easy ways to create delicious dishes. It is devoted to simple cooking and all recipes require few ingredients that can be prepared in 30 minutes or less.

The goal is to publish recipes that inspire you as a home cook, boost your confidence in the kitchen and make delicious recipes over and over again. Everyone is able to cook anything; the secret is to perfectly combine the ingredients and flavors.

From the base of cooking to the secrets of the spectacular, new recipes are posted every week, with a mixture of savory and sweet, including breakfast, lunch, brunch, dinner and dessert recipes.

As of January 2017, I use a Nikon D5300 with standard lens. I always try to record my videos in natural daylight, so nothing really fancy. Both of us have no additional studies as far as the photography is concerned, but our passion made us want to learn and discover more about this area. We are doing our best to improve day by day the way we present our followers the dishes we are making out of love and passion for food. What we have learned from the very beginning is that everything is possible if you love what you are doing.

I love staying in touch with the people who enjoy cooking and want to discover more!
